From the moment we decided to book the house to the very last "Thank you" message we received from the host, this has been nothing but a positive experience. The pics are beautiful, but the house is so much more beautiful when you're there! The booking was easy through VRBO, then the host contacted us after the booking to ask if we needed anything. All requests were honored by her and she always promptly responded to all questions. Then house had everything we wanted and more. The kids (& the adults) enjoyed the lake and all the fun activities set up for us. We thoroughly enjoyed the firepit. The Perfect Lakehouse

I recently celebrated my birthday with friends at what turned out to be the best location ever! From watching movies in the great media room, fishing, grilling to preparing gourmet meals in the two kitchens and s'mores by the fire pit-this place covered it all. It definitely lived up to the name of Icing on the Lake! The new owner Elle was very proactive and gracious with supplying useful information and responsive to all inquiries. Perfect Lake House

Our family celebrated Christmas here and the house was exactly what we were looking for, clean and spacious. There are numerous shared spaces around the house where different groups could gather so it never felt cramped or crowded. Some people were watching a movie in the theater room, some were chatting around a fire place, others were playing card games, and others were watching football - and there were separate spaces to do all of these at the same time! Elle was incredibly responsive and accommodating host; whether I reached out to her in the late evening or early morning, she always responded to questions very promptly. This is an amazing home! We stayed to celebrate early Christmas with my family and had 22 people (children and adults). The 8 large bedrooms were great for sleeping and the two levels of living space provided plenty of room for us all. The kids loved having movie night in the movie room and playing the provided board games. There are two kitchens which helped when preparing dinners! The views are amazing and we really enjoyed the gas fireplaces during the evening. We hope to come back in the summer to get out on the lake but this house really has it all to enjoy even in December!

Wonderful Property

Elle is an amazing host who presented a beautiful waterfront property with all the items you could imagine needed already there. This is a must stay and there is just so much space for you to host a large family. The internet is stable but satellite so don’t expect to stream a lot but there is so much available on dish plus Disney that you will be good. All that said between the beautiful grounds, hot tub, fire pit, deck, dock, and the cute neighborhood of Warrenton I doubt you spend much time inside and if you do pour a drink and enjoy there view by the fireplace!
